Last week Thursday, I moved a motion titled NEED TO INVESTIGATE THE UTILIZATION OF THE BASIC HEALTH CARE PROVISION FUND," which seeks to address the poor state of the Primary Health Care services in the country, notwithstanding the fund made available by the federal government. How these funds have been utilized needs to be probed by the House of reps, because the deplorable state of health care centers across the country is saddening, most especially in rural areas with inadequate manpower, basic equipment and drugs. The House committee on Health services has been mandated to investigate and carry-out further legislative action. #VCM #VoiceOfTheCommonMan #9thAssembly
