APC UK shared this video of a massive crowd at APC campaign rally in Kogi State. The video has gotten lots of reactions from Nigerians - both APC and PDP supporters.
While the APC supporters are of the opinions that President Buhari doesn't need to campaign, that he can comfortably win without little or no campaign, PDP commenters think otherwise. They also Think Yahaya Bello has failed woefully. That he couldn't pay workers' salaries.

The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun has made it clear that he does not fear the National leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
The governor said he only fears God and President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that he was ready for Oshiomhole.
Amosun stated this when he received a letter from the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, endorsing Buhari of the APC as its presidential candidate for the February 2019 presidential polls.
Amosun took delivery of the endorsement letter from the governorship candidate of APM, Hon. Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade, at the APC Secretariat on Abiola Way, Abeokuta, the state capital.
The Governor is expected to transfer the letter to President Buhari.
He also declared that the elected executive of the APC led by Chief Derin Adebiyi would serve its four-year term fully.
The National Working Committee, NWC, had during the week dissolved the APC executives in Ogun and Imo states.
Oshiomhole had also appointed a three-man caretaker committee for the party in Ogun State.
The committee members are: Yemi Sanusi (Chairman), Ayo Olubori (Secretary) and Tunde Oladunjoye (Publicity Secretary).
Governor Amosun said, “You know me by now. For me, I fear God and I respect people. So, it won’t be because we are afraid or we don’t want to talk.
“Where we are now, what we should concentrate in doing is to let them know that here in Ogun State, this is the home of President Buhari and we must vote massively for him.
“This is the home of APC. We must let them know that come February 16, 2019, by the benevolence of the Almighty Lord…
“We are human. We are no God, and that is why we are telling them that in this coming election, in this Ogun State, it is whoever all of you (people) decide to back that will win the election.
“So, the best way to answer them is through our action. And what is the action? We will use our votes to let them know who owns this Ogun State.
“So, if they are looking for states to destroy them, they should not think of Ogun State. We are ready for them.
“We don’t fear them. All of them put together, we don’t fear anybody. We fear God and we fear President Muhammadu Buhari.
“We have decided to let them be for the sake of President Buhari. If not for the President, we know what to do.
“Just ignore them. Don’t engage them for anything. Let us be focused and redouble our efforts so that in the coming election, we are going to answer them with our votes.
“I want to assure you that this executive that God has used you to put together, the executive will be there for the next four years. They will serve their term.”

Materials in a suitcase seized nearly three years ago by Swiss authorities may unlock the identities of the Nigerian recipients of the $1.1billion in corrupt payments by Shell and ENI over the purchase of OPL 245 from Malabu Oil.
A Geneva prosecutor is now reviewing the materials and will decide what can be shared with Italian authorities, where some trials have begun in the monumental bribery scandal.
The prosecutor received the green light after Switzerland’s top court, the Federal Tribunal, rejected an appeal by Nigerian defendant Emeka Obi to prevent his bag from being unsealed. The Lausanne court’s Nov. 8 ruling, published online, said that the confiscated material – including documents, an external hard drive, British and African passports, and USB keys – could have “potential pertinence” in the criminal investigation and the sealing could be lifted without violating Swiss law.
“The Geneva prosecutor now has access to all the material in conformity with the Federal Tribunal ruling,” it said in a reply to Reuters. He will select the material to be handed over, it said.
Under Swiss law, privileged information cannot be shared in international judicial assistance in criminal matters and the prosecutor’s choice of documents can be appealed. Obi’s Geneva lawyers, Paul Gully-Hart and Charles Goumaz told Reuters that they were cooperating with the prosecutor’s office.
“With respect to the ongoing proceedings in Switzerland, regarding the suitcase of our client, we can confirm that no decision has yet been taken in respect of the transmission of any of its contents to the Italian authorities,” they said in a statement. “Our client has maintained his innocence in regards to the various allegations made by the Milan prosecutors and is confident that the final evaluation of the contents of his bag will confirm this.
“Our position remains, as it has always been from the beginning, that the only material that should even be considered for transmission to the Italians must be strictly limited to non-protected material that is directly related to our client’s involvement in the OPL 245 transaction,” they added. An Italian judge said on Monday that Eni and Shell were fully aware their 2011 purchase of a Nigerian oilfield would result in corrupt payments to Nigerian politicians and officials.
Eni and Shell bought the OPL 245 offshore field for about $1.3 billion in a deal that spawned one of the industry’s largest corruption scandals. It is alleged that about $1.1 billion of the total was siphoned to agents and middlemen. The Milan judge made the comment in her written reasons for the September conviction of Obi and Italian Gianluca Di Nardo, both middlemen in the OPL 245 deal, for corruption. The pair was jailed for four years.
Obi and Di Nardo have been tried separately from Eni and Shell, which also face corruption allegations over the same deal in a hearing that is expected to drag on for months. Eni has denied any wrongdoing. Shell said on Monday that neither Obi nor Di Nardo had worked for Shell, and that there was no basis to convict it or any of its former staff of alleged offences related to the deal.
Obi brought the Swiss case to keep the contents of the bag seized in Geneva in April 2016 from being shared with foreign authorities. Its confiscation led the Geneva prosecutor to open a criminal case for suspected corruption of foreign officials and money-laundering.
Days later, Italian authorities requested judicial assistance, arguing that the suitcase and its contents had been deliberately stashed in Geneva, the Swiss ruling said. Italy’s proceedings targeted 13 defendants and two companies suspected of corruption activities from 2009 and 2014 linked to acquiring prospecting rights in Africa, it said.

overnor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state, on Friday presented a budget of N129.9billion for 2019 to the state House of Assembly for consideration.
The News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN) reports that the budget, christened, “Budget of Restoration”, is made up of N57.8billion capital expenditure and N72.7billion recurrent expenditure.
The capital expenditure represents 44 per cent, while the recurrent expenditure is about 56 per cent of the budget.
Fayemi said the budget was tailored after the 4-pillars of his administration, which are Social Investment, Knowledge Economy,
Infrastructure and Industrial Development and Agriculture and Rural Development.
He listed the policy thrust and objectives of the budget to include establishment of an effective strategy to revamp the state’s economy as well as improving Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), among others.
According to him, the budget has been structured in a manner that will liberate the state from poverty and underdevelopment.
“I am not on a revenge mission, but rather, I am back as a healing balm on a painful wound. We as a responsible government are not interested in trials by media, political witch hunt or playing to the gallery merely to achieve cheap popularity.
“That is why this administration is not set out to abandon any of the ongoing projects embarked upon by my predecessor, especially considering the fact that such projects are being financed by the state tax payers.
“A bottom- line approach was adopted in preparing the budget to really meet the yearnings of the people and return the state to its rightful place among the comity of states.
“This was why I made sure government consulted widely and gathered the inputs of all stakeholders in achieving a budget that will reflect collective aspirations, needs and demands for sustainable growth of all the 16 Local Government Areas,” he said.
Responding, the Speaker, Mr Adeniran Alagbada commended the governor for the early presentation of the budget and promised to accord it accelerated consideration so that people of the state can begin to enjoy dividends of democracy under the new All progressive Congress led administration.

Gatwick airport, the UK’s second largest airport, was closed for most of Wednesday night and Thursday morning after it received reports of two drones flying nearby, reports The Guardian. The airport initially had its flights suspended at 9PM on Wednesday evening after the drones were spotted, and although it briefly reopened at 3am, it was forced to close once more 45 minutes later after the drone flights resumed. As of 9:15AM, Thursday morning, flights to and from the airport remained suspended.
As well as preventing any flights from taking off, the suspension means that numerous inbound flights had to be diverted to other London-area airports including Luton, Heathrow and Stansted, while other flights were forced to land in Paris and Amsterdam. In total, 760 flights containing 110,000 passengers were due to either take off or land from Gatwick over the course of Thursday.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Kwara State governorship candidate for the 2019 election, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has been sacked by a High Court sitting in Ilorin.
The court action happened on Wednesday following the ruling of Justice T.S. Umar, who also nullified the Bashiru Omolaja Bolarinwa led executive council of the party in the state.
The court therefore recognised the Ishola Balogun-Fulani-led execuitve council of the APC in Kwara as authentic.
Following Senate President Bukola Saraki’s dumping of the APC, the party had made efforts to ensure that those believed to be loyal to Saraki were removed from the party’s leadership positions in the state.
It was believed that the sack of Balogun-Fulani and his executive members from the party by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC on September 18 was part of that move.
But Balagun-Fulani had gone to the court to challenge his sack by the APC. And in its ruling, the court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), to recognise the candidate of the Balogun-Fulani-led faction of the APC in Kwara, Kayode Omotose, as the governorship candidate of the party in the state.
